How to Play Reversi

The object is to make more discs  your color  than the  computer's color.

Each side chooses a blank square to play it's own color disc. This blank square must be separated from another disc of the playing side's color by at least one disc of the other's color along either a diagonal, row, or column. To complete the play, all the discs of the other color between discs of the played disc is changed to the played side's color.

Play continues until no blank squares are left, or when neither side has any legal moves left. In all cases, the winner is the side with more discs of its color.
